Having served my apprenticeship with a traditional joinery shop and later managing a successful joinery business, it was time to explore pastures new.
With the skills and knowledge acquired over those years, I started my own joinery business in 1995, making furniture, staircases, doors and windows.
Drawing on a passion for design and a love of making furniture, I have decided to focus more on this area and create john thorp furniture.
